Running Advice

This blog at Running Times has a ton of good advice from some of the planets best coaches, as told by their athletes. From Sage Canaday to Ryan Hall, there are a good mix of elite runners on this list, and the wisom they share applies to all of us. A few of my favorite excerpts:

"Now anytime I have an injury, I put my full energy into finding a way to stay fit." - Dathan Ritzenhein

"Don't rush -- things don't happen overnight." - Meb Keflezighi

"If it's not fun, it's not worth doing it." - Ryan Hall

"The race always hurts, luv. Expect it to hurt. You don't train so that it doesn't hurt. You train so you can tolerate it." - Lauren Fleshman

"Act like a pirate. " - Kara Goucher

"Dance with the girl that brung ya." - Jenny Barringer Simpson
